Effects of PCP
PCP often leads to psychological dependence and craving. Feelings of strength, power and invulnerability and a numbing effect on the mind are some reasons people continue to use it. Many users have been brought to the emergency room because of the drug's unpleasant psychological effects or because of an overdose. A low dose can cause an increase in breathing rate and a more pronounced rise in blood pressure and pulse rate. A high dose causes a drop in blood pressure, pulse rate and normal breathing accompanied by: nausea, vomiting, blurred vision, loss of balance and dizziness.
