Ecstasy Withdrawal
Ecstasy or MDMA is an addictive drug which is known to induce diminished feelings of depression and anxiety. This drug has proved to cause OCD or Obsessive Compulsion Disorder, which is characterized by sexual anxiety or aggressive behavior and the commonly observed symptoms, is regularly washing hands. The drug is described to cause "altered state of consciousness with emotional and sensual overtones".

Ecstasy withdrawal can be quite a problem if the person is an extensive user. The quantity used, length of time the drug was abused, are important to know when a person is trying to withdraw so that they can be treated properly.
There are symptoms which can be noticed in a person during the withdrawal. Some of them are panic attacks where a person experiences acute episodes of intense anxiety, sleeplessness where a person feels tired all the time but is unable to have a good sleep, depression in which he feels depressed all the time, psychosis wherein a person is unable to recognize or accept reality, paranoia is the delusion which is based on unrealistic believes, agitation where a person is under increased tension and is easily annoyed regarding his physical or emotional concerns. These effects may carry on for months and even years after stopping.
