How to Talk to Your Kid About Drugs

It can be difficult to talk to kids about drugs. What if they don't even know what a drug is? What if they tell you they are using? What if they tell you they don't want to talk? How do you handle it? What do you say?

You'll want to have an open and understanding communication with your kid and let them know that you're there to help them. Doing the opposite may cause them to shut down and walk away.

Be a friend so your kid will go to you for help and not someone else or drugs.
