What is Ketamine?
Ketamine is an anesthetic that is used for humans and in some veterinary practices. Its general effects include pain reduction, memory loss, and sleep induction.

Why do people use Ketamine?
Ketamine is a drug that may be injected, snorted, or taken orally for it to take effect. It has been reportedly used as an additive to Ecstasy to induce a more psychedelic sensation to the user.

There are people who use this drug for recreational purposes due to the fact that it can induce euphoria and a temporary “high” that approximately lasts for up to twenty four hours. However, prolonged use can lead to Ketamine addiction, and can cause more serious medical and psychological problems.

What are the signs of Ketamine addiction?
Ketamine addiction may be exhibited by an individual through lack of awareness, memory lapses, and visual distortion. It may also be observed that Ketamine addiction causes difficulty in breathing and in speaking.

What are the side effects of Ketamine addiction?
Ketamine abuse, just like abuse to the use of any other drug, proves to be very lethal. Misuse of Ketamine will result to one or all of the following side effects:

  • Mental and emotional instability.
  • Poor eyesight and numbness.
  • Weakened motor functions and total memory loss.
  • Distorted speech.
  • Seizure-like contraction of muscles.
