What is Lortab?
The combination of hydrocodone (a narcotic pain reliever) and acetaminophen (also known as Tylenol) brings about the drug called Lortab. Lortab is known to induce the blocking of the pain receptors of the brain.
Why do people use Lortab?
Lortab triggers mechanisms of the user’s system and sends signals to the body that makes the person have a feeling of well-being. Lortab addiction is common to users that have initially taken the drug for medical purposes because their systems have been used to taking Lortab.
Sometimes, even if a person has no history of drug abuse of any kind, he may still be susceptible to Lortab addiction once he starts to take the drug.
There are also cases in which lortab tends to cover up the inhibitions of the user, so the user tends to feel more confident. Since this kind of feeling has been associated by the user to his taking of the drug, he will continue to use it to feel its effects.
What are the signs of Lortab addiction?
People who are addicted to lortab experience the hearing of a ringing sound in their ears and constantly feels weak or faints. Yellowing of the skin and the eyes may also be visible on a person who is addicted to the drug. Shallow breathing and a slow heartbeat is also a sign of Lortab addiction.

- Anxiety or depression
